Courage doesn’t always roar, sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says “I’ll try again tomorrow
— Mary Anne Rademacher

Natalie comes to Westside with a breadth of experience in settings ranging from substance abuse treatment, to university counseling, to medical. With this broad experience, she has encountered nearly every imaginable complaint and concern. Perhaps this is what makes her so unflappable. As much at ease with young children as teens, and adults, Natalie brings a great air of pragmatism to her work. The problems you are facing have solutions, and she is here to help you find them. Natalie engages your own resilience and perceptiveness as she facilitates your efforts to find balance, change life-long patterns and behaviors that are no longer useful, and focus on new ways of being.

Natalie works with children, adolescents, young adults and adults facing issues around substance abuse, trauma, anxiety and depression. She is skilled at working with LGBTQ individuals, and comfortable facilitating work dealing with gender identity, transitions, the challenges faced by individuals who identify as transgendered. Drawing on Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, she will find an approach that resonates with you.
