Jody’s sense of optimism, and her full engagement in life are hallmarks of her kind but energetic style. She has clearly maintained a deep faith in human potential, and works actively to promote growth, offering unflagging support as her clients embark on change.

In therapy, Jody uses an integrative perspective, including strength based, psychodynamic, solution focused, humor, and play. She creates an atmosphere that is safe, supportive and non-judgemental. Jody has experience working collaboratively, with all ages from 5 through 84, all genders, the LGBTQ community, individuals, couples and families, on issues that include anxiety, depression, loss, self-esteem, and trauma.

She believes that anyone can make changes in their lives if they want to and are encouraged by a strong sense of hope, which is what she makes every effort to provide.
